NJ LAFLARE
From Boston to LA to Saint Louis, NjayLaflare’s sound has been in the making since his early childhood. Growing up in and out of studios with his uncle, who introduced him to music, his love of and dedication to the craft came in full swing. Continuing to be inspired and influenced by Hip-Hop and R&B artists like Meek Mill and Seddie Hendrix, his passion for the art was strengthened by his mother’s passing from cancer at just 12 years old. Gravitating towards the wrong crowd of artists taught him about the good and bad sides of the industry, experiences that are deeply embedded within his work. The vulnerability present in his stories of love, loss, backstabbing, and trust is all anecdotes that weave listeners through the life-changing decisions he’s made to get to where he is. With tracks ranging from those leaning into R&B, to Gangsta Rap influenced Hip-Hop tracks, his message is one of resilience and authenticity, reminding listeners not only of his versatility as an artist, but of where his outlook on life and art came from and how integral your experiences are to the growth of one’s self and one’s artistry.
