That Mexican OT, Slim Thug & DRODi Get Buck at the Houston Rodeo in "Bull Riding" Video
That Mexican OT is hip-hop's favorite cowboy, and he has the horse-riding experience to back up his reputation. In his latest video, "Bull Riding," OT heads down to Houston for the annual Livestock and Rodeo Show to demonstrate his steer-strapping bonafides. The highlight from OT's recent mixtape, Texas Technician, features appearances from Houston legend Slim Thug and OT's close collaborator DRODi.
The Video:
A country boy from the rough-and-tumble small town of Bay City, Texas, That Mexican OT knows his way around a rodeo. The 25-year-old rapper feels right at home at the Houston Rodeo and Livestock Show in the video for "Bull Riding," a highlight track from his recently-released mixtape, Texas Technician. Produced by hitmaking duo Bankroll Got It, "Bull Riding" is a slow-moving slice of Texas trap, with mournful strings and percolating percussion. The song unites OT with Houston legend Slim Thug, who delivers a memorable verse in his booming baritone, and reunites OT with DRODi, his close friend and collaborator. Directed by OT's regular shooter, DGreen Filmz, the video is a tribute to the intersection of the Lone Star State's rural and urban cultures, as OT and crew ride horses and Escalades and rock jet black cowboy attire on the rodeo grounds.
